Could not agree more. I would love to own the company for the assets but I have no confidence in management. Hedging and buyback strategy knocks them down my list of investable companies. If buybacks work to increase value then this company should be trading significantly higher after all the shares that they have retired.

exact same argument can be made about how dividends make no sense, why hand out cash when you can reinvest in the business???
