Time to stop looking backwards and look forwards, clearly you do not follow ANY semiconductor company's earnings and their outlook/guidance/capex reductions
Otherwise you'd know they are CUTTING PRODUCTION due to a SURPLUS of chips on the market. hahahahah novice
My biggest "fear" about Intel is that TSMC is going to start building in the US. And TSMC are really good in the foundry of Chips.
Time will tell, as always!
intel is a dog, the worst possible semi investment . look at 1-3-5-10 year returns vs AMD / NVDA / TSMC / QCOM
It's a sinking ship that will only bleed capital
I agree. TSMC is by far the biggest competitor. Also, this is a very competitive sector, with huge investment needs.
lol still cant believe you posted an article from 4 months ago to state the current state of things in the market.
Are you a time traveler?
this article is from August
we are in December

"With a global shortage of semiconductors today and likely to deepen in years to come"
This is wrong on so many levels. there is a global GLUT of chips, hence why semiconductors are down
Wrong. There is a global shortage. https://www.spglobal.com/engineering/en/research-analysis/understanding-the-current-global-semiconductor-shortage.html#:~:text=Construction%20materials%20and%20labor%20to,increased%20demand%20for%20such%20equipment.
well done. This is right in my kitchen. I totally agree with your assessment.
