Good post, Michael. How alone Javier Milei down in Argentina must feel. How ironic that Argentina is at the forefront of promoting capitalism, ahead of the U.S. and Canada in the WH. That takes a bit processing actually.
The points you make illustrate the obvious violent culture in the US, the political divide and how Canada and Euroland are Vassal States with few exceptions, controlled by the same types of increasing censorship, laws and regulations penalizing free speech and a quest for the govt. to confiscate assets outside the "normal" laws.
Whatever happened to the Canada that use to be against wars, in favor of diplomacy and solving differences of opinions by compromise, not sending troops and materiel, not to kill and destroy, but to enforce peace?
Well put, basically attack anyone who doesnt support the crazy left wing agenda, we have seen physical attacks on many leaders in addition to Trump in recent years, the past leader of Brazil and people in The Netherlands come to mind, but others too... My wives comments that he wasnt a top marksman and the secret service did a great job leaves me baffled. I dont know much about security, but 101 in a situation like this is check roof tops, are there no drones, either incompetence or intentional by the secret service. The decision to not allow secret service for Robert Kennedy (The reason its supposed to be provided for ALL presidential candidates is because his father was assassinated) and reduced coverage on Trump says it all.
Initial info say the shooter was Antifa, the Portland headquartered brown shirts of the Democratic party is not surprising.

Excellent post. A sad event for America and an excellent analysis of the current state of North American politics and society.
Great article! 100 % right on.
Very appropriate essay. Thanks.
