Add the U.S. to this litany of inverse reactions to horrific policies. It stuns me that we have a roughly even shot at electing a president who will shut down our energy industry, hound food companies that operate on a 1% operating margin as "price gougers," flood the money supply-already diluted beyond belief, with trillions in new subsidies, and then apply universal rent controls. Americans as a population are ignorant and complacent, with few remaining who remember times of hardship in this country. We face a future of intermittent energy supply, housing that becomes increasingly unaffordable, and food shortages. If we are not careful, all the wonderful immigrants breaking into our country may have cause to regret the decision to come here....and go home. The U.S. election will be a good proxy for what Canadians can expect next year.
Unfortunately too many Canadians are ignoring facts too..
Same thing in the States. The apathy is incredible.
Facts are obvious of incredulity ongoing incompetence by the Liberals
How do you not see the obvious need to completely change government!!
