I cant figure out if most of Trudeau's policies are driven by the US or China? The spending money because it sounds good and enriches friends and relatives is just Trudeau, but things like TMP and Costal pipeline China wants, but not the US, on the other hand it appears that the US played a big roll in getting him elected so bail reform with the rest of the woke agenda is in lock step with the US.
High unemployment wont guarantee less inflation, but likely a necessary ingredient. Lots of Govt money for not doing anything and very high minimum wages are contributing. Frankly it surprises me the amount of money someone can make with a bit of hustle. It seems a young person can easily make $40K a year and if living at home, lots of disposable income. My biggest expense by far are taxes, I smile when someone complains about Loblaws making 2-3% profit on sales for providing a good service that I do not have to use, while most purchases add on 13% tax because the Government can.
Latest song in the US getting lot of attention on the dire situation...
Rich Men North Of Richmond" (I assume referring to DC)
Oliver Anthony Lyrics
First part of the song, his voice works well with the words!!
"Rich Men North Of Richmond"
I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away
Etc etc
