As an European, I believe that the experiments with "renewables" are not over. For some draconian reason, the EU leaders insist in that narrative that somehow the Wind and Sun will solve all our energy problems.

Sadly, you are right, the political class are intent, it seems, on doubling down on their mistakes by spending even more on renewables.
However, I think they are so remote from reality, they are not aware of what is coming in a few months time.
