I would take slight 'exception' to your sentence about MP/MPP paying $20 million in taxes. We (non gov't employees) pay the taxes of gov't employees.

As your previous article alluded, Volvo states a 70% higher carbon footprint to manufacture an EV & 9 years in operation before it produces a lower carbon footprint than an ICE vehicle.
18 months ago I was doing research to buy my next vehicle & which EV it would be...... Hard pass.
