Hard to know where to start

Who wrested what from whom over the centuries ?

It’s not about land title at The Hague

Yes it’s about money and power and tribes and culture (religion is just a slice of tribal culture , culture and tribalism ain’t going away )

To say it’s just about “ beliefs” misses the point . Everything is about belief … you think CBC is giving us the facts ? We are all brainwashed.

We only own our land to the extent we have the power and money to enforce that title . Over thousands of years the marauders laid claim …. not The Hague

Who really rules Canada ?

The ROC has ended up being colony of Quebec . I admire how Quebec has played their hand. The ROC has been naive until lately when 5 Premiers have decided to have a go Trudeau’s insane Carbon tax . Countries are a myth of stories taught in school . Those myths keep changing . Myths are necessary to hold society together.

3 Things

1. From a school chum David Walter Rothschild born and raised in Quebec :

My first name David, was my grandfather’s name.

My second name is Walter. It comes from Baron Lionel Walter Rothschild who was always called Walter.

In 1934 my grandmother wrote to Walter and begged him to sponsor my Dad’s entry into England. He agreed and on Christmas Eve 1934 my Dad fled the Reich and took a train to Brussels and then went by ferry to England. Had it not been for Walter one cannot be sure what would have happened to my Dad. Walter died in 1937, after that Dad was required to leave England every 90 days and constantly renew his visa to return. He had to do that until late 1939 early 1940. In early 1940 he was incarcerated on the Isle of Mann with thousands of other German speaking Jews until late 1940. Many were deported to Canada ( Quebec & New Brunswick ).

My aunt got out in 1933 due to my grandparents marrying her off at about age 20 to a much older German Jew with Swedish citizenship.

My grandparents and uncle  fled to Sweden in 1936. My grandfather died almost immediately after arriving but my grandmother and uncle and survived because of my aunt’s husband.

Over 50 of our relatives died in Auschwitz, Terezin, Riga and Sobibor.

2 . Sam has it backwards on Israel being apartheid, it isn’t , but much of the region is . Palestinians participate in Parliament , the judiciary and in the media . That doesn’t happen for Jews in the rest of Arab neighborhoods. In fact Egypt for example built a wall to keep the Gazans out .

3 . Mulroney’s speech :

Hamas answered Hitler's call | National Post

Thanks for adding to the conversation Mr Blair. The history of humans migrating and occupying various localities is the history of the world regardless of any political institutions. That won't ever change and in my opinion you are correct that occupying by force as is Ukraine by Russia is what modern society tries very hard to discourage. My particular heritage is highland Scot and I'm sure they moved they moved to Canada in the 17th and 18th century to survive, not because they wanted to. One of my grandfathers came in in the first decade of the twentieth century basically as an indentured slave to work on a farm in Saskatchewan. He still fought in both world wars in fealty to Great Britain and Canada and managed to live a great life and raise a good family. He wasn't an occupier nor or any of us on this continent. North America is what arguably the greatest experiment in migration ever and I'd say it's a outstanding success.

The people of Africa South Asia and Central America that are migrating now are in the tens of millions and a large portion of them are doing it in a manner that is perceived as illegal. Most will integrate to wherever they end up and enrich it although it will take three or four generations to see the success.

My opinion is that Israel has every right to exist as a state where all of them exist together but I only see one side offering integration.

Thanks for the opportunity to pontificate on this thread.

Agree. My ancestors came to Canada from Ireland to flee not only the potato famines but also the oppression of the Irish under the British including the horrors inflicted by Oliver Cromwell whose armies killed off half the Irish population and sold 300,000 Irishmen into indentured servitude or outright slavery in the West Indies. Older Canadian families have a lot in common and appreciate the plight of Israel's people.

Agree and our Grandfathers might have been on the same boat

Jewish people are extremely successful and powerful people, just look at the msm and the over-whelming pro-israel posts; but regardless of their sucess they have no right to claim supremacist over other race, literally calling palestinian animals and treated them as such over the last 75 years through apartheid.

U.N. and people around the world are on the side of peace, their message is clear; a cease-fire no less but Netanyahu flatly refused, continue its bombarment of Gaza night and day causing thousands and and thousands of death, amputated and homeless; and as a result a new generations of Hama was born as quoted by Elon Musk.

Zionist propganda news often said the attack was provoked by hamas; but the on-going land grab and inhumane treamtnet of Palestinian has been going on for 75 years, way before oct 7.

Critizing Israel is by no mean anti-semantic; we all have criticize communist china for years but we are not hostile to the chinese. On that note did the Chinese provoke Imperial Japanese in China? Or did the Polish people provoke the Nazi in Poland?

Hundreds and hundreds of horrific pictures of dead children and babies circulating on X-twitter.

Government and Zionist can lied but people can see with their own eyes; an over-whelming of nations in U.N. supported the resolution; Canada and USA objected, we have blood on our hands with our tax dollars used for weapons of mass destruction.
