Thank you Michael for your service & for always sticking up for Canadians. Sure would be nice if some of the Ukraine handouts went to our military & veterans. Shame on Trudeau, Liberals & previous Gov’t’s for not doing more.

This was indeed a sad time for you then & now with your memories. Not to compare to you, but I was raised in the RCAF & was stationed in England, France & Germany for 3 years. During that time as a teen I saw several crashes during the combat exercises. So sad. Thank you for what you have done & are still doing.

The Voodoo was an amazing plane at the time, so was the Starfighter, but it had lots of issues and the name widow maker was very descriptive

If I recall correctly, 1 engine, tiny wings, hard to control, even on paper it was a problem..

1 engine, a dream to fly, stable, fast, seductively easy to control, but like all high tail plane fighters, prone to pitch up if a critical angle of attack was breached and an engine that a sparrow could take out.
