Canada has a compelling opportunity

to simultaneously IMPROVE the global atmosphere, materially build our overall economy and contribute to growing First

Nations prosperity. It’s a hat trick it we choose to get in the game, and that

game is LNG.

This is literally the only way to chip away at the massive debt that the Liberals have created & give future generations of Cdn’s a stable place to live & prosper.

It’s possible the kitimat area LNG will be in service early 2025, should have completed 8 years ago if the governments hadn’t delayed it so much. It might have so much debt that fees will make it a white elephant…. TMP coming along, I hope they complete the Edmonton to sumas link first so more oil could immediately be shipped to Asia. Debt and ownership could also be a major problem here too.

A good article. I was relieved and happy for the country that Smith won. Aligned with Moe they together present a formidable force for good in Canada. However, I don't believe the federal Liberals will cooperate at all with Alberta or Saskatchewan. They will dictate terms and rely on our woke supreme court to back them up. Then I do hope that Smith and Moe take a page out of Quebec's playbook. When Trudeau tries to force the destruction of energy, a primary source of our export revenue, they invoke notwithstanding on the legislation necessary to guarantee their future and that of the country as a whole.

Certainly a relief that smith won, however more government workers and more support from the liberals, cbc etc etc and it will be closer next time. The fact that notley got so many votes despite being a terrible premier sends a message. Promise us more goodies, tell us we deserve more because we are so good at doing nothing, and we will vote ndp…

Watching the coverage it was very obvious who the media wanted to win. As far as watching Steve P, haven’t watched TVO since bridge with Charles Goran and Elway Yost(sp) at the movies were on. Must be 40 years now…
