Currently living in Kingston on, the homeless here have a doctor who visits their main encampment, I cant get a local doctor so am thinking of becoming homeless :(
Mike, I think its great what you do, I would love to support you, but prefer not to sign up for an ongoing pledge, is there someway I could make a 1 time donation? I feel that my effort would be appreciated, although it would not be material to you... Best wishes and keep up the great work, Scott
PS: noticed Freeport shipped its first shipment and may be restarting!!!
Thank you, my wife will be happy!! You may enjoy and find some value at the "energy Investing" board on the Investorvillage. com website. Many posters who share, have worked in the energy business and know much more than I ever will... Mostly an older bunch with lots of experience... Occasionally gets off track but the moderator does a great job to keep things down to earth...
Have to agree with everything, although Quebec has had user pay for at least 20 years, any other province suggests it, full on attack. About 4 years ago as Ontario residents my wife needed an MRI, rather that wait months(only hockey, football and basketball players can pay to get they, since you need a company to pay the fee) we travel to Montreal frequently and got one for about $900 including a specialist consultation and a cortisone shot in the knee. Driving to Buffalo would have cost about $1000US.
It's a complicated subject. A triangle exists between government, doctors and unions. Ford's plan shakes up the unions and allows staff to work outside the hospital system in independent facilities (IHFs) that can innovate
An Ipsos poll found that 59 per cent support the private delivery of publicly funded care and 60 per cent support fully private care for those who can afford to pay for it.

Thanks for the kind words. Spend your money on something nice for your Valentine. I have too much money and write to pay it forward.

We in Ontario did have payroll deductions for health care befor OHIP came in the late sixties. I believe we paid a minimum to Blue Cross then.
