Mark Carney will ride "climate change" into the sunset of his career

A brilliant mind deluded by the AGW theory, he has stained his copy book

Mark Carney has had a storied career with a stint as governor of the Bank of Canadsa and then the Bank of England and his current role as UN Envoy on Climate Change. He is recognized for his financial acumen including his years with Goldman Sachs. I had the pleasure of meeting Carney years ago at a meeting of the Ontario Business Advisory Committee, a unit of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce that provided in camera discussions with key political and economic leaders to exchange ideas about issues facing Canada. I was at the time impressed.

Now Carney is an out and out climate nutter, pretending that CO2 poses a threat of catastrophic global warming and claiming that NetZero is essential to the salvation of humanity. Having met Carney (albeit for an hour or two) I know he is intelligent enough to know the climate change narrative is nonsense and that NetZero is a greater threat to humanity than carbon dioxide (CO2) at any level in Earth’s atmosphere. So why is Carney pushing this toxic charade?

Power.

Carney recognizes the value of a global threat if people can be persuaded they need to cede personal freedom to global leaders to protect against the risks. Like Klaus Schwab at World Economic Forum, a perceived global threat cannot be wasted. Schwab grabbed the now-gone COVID-19 pandmenic as an opportunity to argue mankind needed a “Great Reset” and with Therry Mailleret published his solution in a widely read book called “COVID-19: THE GREAT RESET”. COVID came and went (like other pandemics in history) and no “reset” took place. Carney was a contributor to the WEF Agenda giving keynote speeches on issues the WEF uses to promote its “global socialism” agenda. Carney claims “climate crisis” deaths will be “worse than COVID”.

There is little doubt that power is a narcotic and that Carney has become an addict. I have no doubt his opportunism extends to a likely attempt to supplant Justin Trudeau as leader of the Canadian federal Liberal Party with a hope he can become Prime Minister and step into the shoes of fellow climate nutter Trudeau to use that role to push more socialist ideology and government control over Canadians personal freedoms.

As I have written before, it is almost trivial to prove that CO2 is incapable of causing material warming.

That hasn’t stopped the socialist United Nations from promoting the fear despite clear admissions that CO2 is not the issue - wealth inequality is - and the climate change fear is the tool they hope will rally support for worldwide socialist cooperation if not autocratic central global government. Admissions? Here are public statements of key U.N. officials.

Even the late Christine Stewart while Liberal Minister of Environment was open about the narrative’s real value.

Justin Trudeau called for “climate reckoning” in a 2020 speech to the United Nations urging a “shake up” of the “global establishment”. And I thought he was Prime Minister of Canada, not the world.

Courageous speeches and publications by physicists and real climate scientists like Dr. Patrick Moore, Dr. Richard Lindzen, Dr. Wil Happer, Dr. Steven Koonin, Dr. Willy Soon, Dr. Judith Curry and a host of others are taking their toll on the leftist narrative and North American voters are losing patience for the leftist leaders who keep pushing the climate scam. Less than half of American voters think “climate change” is an important issue for the November election despite incessant propaganda from the Biden Administration claiming that CO2 emissions comprise an “existential threat”.

Carney’s hopes for more power will be dashed by common sense. I think he has a shot at the Liberal leadership just in time for the Liberal Party to lose the next election and possiblhy lose “official opposition” status to the Bloc Quebecois.
