Kamala Harris: What does she stand for?

And will it be good for America?

Biden is out, Harris is in, and the November election has taken on a completely new aura with recent polls showing a toss up between Harris and Trump, much better for the Democrats than the wide lead Trump had over Biden in most polls before Biden dropped out of the race. There is now an even chance United States will have its first woman president, and its first black woman to boot. No doubt someone will have to ask Supreme Court Justice Katanji Brown Jackson to rule on whether Harris is a “woman” but Jackson will need some help from a biologist, since she is unable to differentiate men and women on her own, it seems.

A brief look at Harris’ votes as a Senator gives some insight into what her administration would look like. Spoiler alert: Think Bernie Sanders on steroids. It will read like it was dictated by George Soros.

Here are a list of policies Harris has publicly endorsed, drawn from her own public speeches and interviews, and the likely result:

• Enact the Green New Deal, committing a few trillion dollars to “fight climate change” despite the reality than mankind cannot control the weather. U.S. fiscal deficit will rise.

• Enact “Medicare for all” including illegal immigrants. Medicare Part B costs $165 a month so the cost for some 15 million illegals in the U.S. is 15 x 165 x 12 = ~$30 billion a year, well within the ability of the U.S. treasury to fund.

• Legalize pot. Likely will encourage more kids to use drugs. Not a big deal.

• Ban plastic straws. Total theatre. No one really cares.

• Ban offshore drilling for oil. Only about 15 % of U.S. oil comes from offshore wells and that output can be readily replaced by onshore drilling.

• Ban “fracking”. That could see a dramatic fall in U.S. oil output with shale decline rates running 40% to 60%. Much higher oil prices will result since within a year or two oil production could fall several millions barrels a day as global demand keeps rising. WTI at $150 a barrel or more? Probably.

• Defund the police. More crime will follow.

• Censor free speech. Expect to see protests, even riots. Americans value free speech.

• Enact tough gun controls. Mostly “theatre”. Criminals use illegal guns today and will ignore the laws, however strict.

• Enact a 70% to 80% income tax rate. Watch high income bankers and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs leave the U.S. in droves. Productivity will suffer.

• Provide universal health care to all residents whether citizens or otherwise

• Decriminalize illegal immigration. Will see several million more immigrants each year, putting pressure on housing markets, schools and hospitals.

• Enact “Open borders” policies. No control over who enters America.

• Enact mechanisms to reduce meat consumption. Total “theatre”.

• Reduce penalties for many crimes. Should reduce the number of people in jail for minor offenses.

That is by no means a complete list, but is a list comprising policies she has publicly embraced and in many cases voted in favor of in the U.S. Senate

If this is what American voters want, they are welcome to it. It will manifest itself in a dramatic ballooning of the U.S. debt levels, increased crime, a greater number of Americans impoverished and homeless, a significant rise in the cost of so-called “entitlements”, and, a far greater number of persons immigrating into United States from all corners of the world. In short, it may precipitate the destruction of the traditional American society.

It is not really a surprise. The political left has been bent on taking down capitalism and installing an authoritarian socialist tyranny for decades. With Harris in the White House, they will be a few steps closer to that goal.

Many voters will support Harris owing to a dislike for rival Donald Trump. Deluded by leftist propaganda, many do not realize that socialism is the only real threat to democracy and Trump, while in many ways a reprehensible character, is the safe alternative.
