I just canceled my Netflix subscription

I don't support "woke" activists like Reed Hastings

I read an article by Peter Savodnik issued on Substack under Bari Weiss’ flagstaff titled “When a Prosector Won’t Prosecute”. It was a heartbreaking account of the soft-on-crime regime of District Attorney George Gascon and his handling of a horrific murder case. In the article, I learned Reed Hastings like George Soros supported Gascon’s election to that office and promotes the “woke” attitudes that have left San Francisco almost unliveable and crime ridden.

Netflix has been a popular site for myself and my children who have enjoyed the streaming movies and series. But there is no world where any of my money will go to Reed Hastings. My subscription to Amazon.com Prime is all the streaming content I want or need.

America is destroying itself from within and Reed Hastings, George Soros and George Gascon are part of the problem. Good riddance.

I was gratified to see Elon Musk describe Netflix as “woke and unwatchable”. It seems I am not alone in my disdain for Hastings.

The stock market has been unkind to NFLX in recent months. Perhaps others find the “woke” leadership of Hastings as intolerable as I do. I will join the throng of Netflix bears and take simple pleasure in watching Mr. Hastings’ fortune evaporate.

Actions have consequences.
