Democrats are helping Trump win in 2024

You have to wonder what nutcake is guiding the Democrats strategy to hold on to power as the economy crumbles under the weight of stupid left-wing policies devoid of any semblance of common sense. It seems certain it is not Joe Biden running the show since he needs help to get his jacket on and has trouble completing a sentence.

Democrats are terrified of Donald Trump. If they had let him go peacefully into retirement, he would likely have disppeared from view and become a spent force with a legacy which combined both effective policies and vile outbursts that paint a picture of an effective president who you would not invite over to dinner.

But instead, some senior person in the Democratic regime thinks their best bet to rally voting support is not to engender a robust economy, to lower taxes, to deregulate industry or to help the world deal with a growing energy shortage that has arisen from poorly considered “climate policies” that pretend CO2 causes climate change and driven capital out oil & gas drilling. Nope. They think voters will ignore surging inflation, rampant crime, cities like Seattle, Portland, San Franciso and Chicago in decay, and nosebleed gasoline costs if only they can persuade those voters that Trump is a threat to democracy.

Fascinating. A major political party that thinks a 76 year-old former President alone is a threat to the democracy? They can’t have much faith in the institutions that have made America a pillar of strength since 1776. Indeed, they seem to be doing their darndest to destroy those institutions bitching everywhere if the Supreme Court executes its duty to uphold the Constitution rather than giving a political party what it wants.

The Democrat attack on Trump has two outcomes. First, it keeps Trump’s name in the news. For a politician, any news coverage is good advertising since voters distrust the media but remember who gains the headlines. Second, it invites Trump to run by poking him on the shoulder on a daily basis. Liz Cheney may be the eminence grise of the Republicans since by attacking Trump so violently she is ensuring he gets a lot of ink while putting coffin nails in her own chances for a political career of any consequence.

The incessant Democrat attacks on Trump would be more effective if they had a iota of reality. The claim that January 6 was an “insurrection” is laughable in a country with over a million soldiers in uniform and an “insurrection” that involved a few thousand largely unarmed protesters upset that Trump lost the election to Biden. Trump’s claims of “voter fraud” seem ludicrous but claims that main stream media torpedoed the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, ran with specious claims of “Russian collusion” and saw social media like Twitter and Facebook spending their days promoting Biden as virtuous while disparaging Trump and shutting down anyone who disagreed with their socialist dreams - those claims had substance.

What makes the current attack on Trump an effective advertisement for Trump is the absurdity of it. A gang of some thirty FBI agents descend on Trump’s residence looking for evidence of wrongdoing including one claim that Trump had classified nuclear weapons materials and another that he may have contravened the Espionage At. You have to wonder what the Democrats were smoking.

Trump lost an election almost two years ago, left the White House a few weeks later, and took a few boxes of documents with him. More than a few members of the Biden administration would have had no difficulty in determining more or less what was in those boxes beyond pictures of Melania, a few golf balls, and a MAGA hat or two. To say almost two years later that Trump had top secret documents that posed a threat to national security calls into question what the Biden administration was doing for two years. Did Biden suddenly wake up in a dream and have an epiphany? Did he suddenly conclude that the “top secret information” Trump had taken just after Biden’s election was now a threat but wasn’t a threat 18 months ago? Did he think he could retroactively “reclassify” things Trump had “declassified” as was his right as President?

How about espionage? Is this another chapter of the Russia collusion hoax that even the FBI could find no evidence of after spending millions on a witch hunt? For what country would Trump be doing doing espionage? I doubt Canada has any plans to once again invade Washington and burn down the White House like it did in 1812, and it is hard to see what state secrets Trump could provide that would assist such an invasion. Mexico seems indifferent to the United States except for the U.S. efforts to make the migrant crisis at the border Mexico’s problem instead of dealing with America’s own immigration policies (or lack of policies to be more accurate). Is North Korea about to launch a missile attack on Philadelphia? Is Al Queda planning a sequel to 911 now that Biden has killed their leader with a drone strike? Or is the “espionage” claim a smoke screen to distract from evidence that may emerge from Ukraine of more Biden corruption than already suspected?

Biden is now so demented he likely believes all of the above. Ordinary Americans don’t. They can see the prices of food, clothing, energy, transportation and medicine going through the roof and know that Biden’s nonsensical economic policies are to blame. The “Inflation Reduction Act” won’t. It is just another Democrat “pork barrel” to bribe special interests to keep donations flowing so Biden can mount a credible campaign and Democrat in Congress can hope to keep their seats through a brutal mid-term that will likely see the House go Republican if not the Senate?

The attack on Trump has had one outcome the Democrats won’t like. It has rallied support for Trump and made him a serious contender for 2024. What goes around comes around.
